🎟️ Automatically generated discount codes (Shopify only)

We wanted to make coupons easier to use and work better for Shopify users. Here's how we did it: Once you add the coupon element to your campaign, we will generate your unique discount codes and automatically add them to your Shopify account. No more manual uploading.

πŸ’‘ Good to know:

  • The discount coupon can be a percentage or a fixed amount.
  • The expiration of the coupon can be a fixed date, like Dec 24, 2021.
  • Coupon expiration can be dynamic as well. This means your coupon will be valid for X days after you give it to the user.
  • If you turn on "Auto redeem", the discount will be added automatically when the user starts the checkout

To set it up, create a campaign with a coupon element and at the Coupon, settings select "Automatically generated code".

🚚 Dynamic free shipping bar

Thanks to our latest improvement for Shopify stores, you can increase your cart value by showing your users how much more they need to spend to get free shipping (or a free gift.)

Use it on a sticky bar by copy-pasting the DTR shortcode [[cartValueCountdown:100]] into a text element. Add the limit amount after the colon. If the user puts something into the basket, it will automatically show the absent amount to reach free shipping. When the limit is reached the campaign switches to the next page.

Let's see an example:

The user already has put a product into the basket for $59 and your free shipping limit is $100.

The sticky bar will show: "Add 41 USD more to your cart to get free shipping"

When the user reaches 100 USD the next page will be shown. "Free shipping unlocked!"

When you set this up, make sure that you set the cart value between a minimum amount and your free shipping threshold. That way, your campaign will only be displayed to visitors who already have something in their cart.

⏫ Campaign priority setting

Now you can set priority statuses to your campaigns, to make sure that you show the most important messages to your visitors. It is useful when two of your campaigns have the exact same targeting and triggering settings.

Let's say you have a general Welcome popup all year round - with a 5% discount coupon for new visitors. However, during Black Friday you want to show a slightly different message, with a 10% coupon for the new visitors. In this case, just set the Black Friday campaign to "High" priority and all of your new visitors will see the right seasonal message without the need to turn off your general Welcome popup.

You can set it up under the campaign Status and Schedule after you click on the specific campaign. (The default priority setting is "normal" on all of your campaigns.)

Personalize your popup with dynamic product name or product category

Thanks to our latest improvement, dynamic text replacement (DTR) now works with product names and product categories. If you're a Shopify store owner, this is a great opportunity to increase your sales by displaying relevant messages to your visitors.

How to use DTR on your popup?

Simply add a text element and add the following short-codes:

  • To use the product name add: [[shop:product_name]]
  • To use the category name: [[shop:category_name]]

Using DTR is extremely useful if you have a lot of category pages and products but you would like to use one campaign to give personalized promotions to visitors on a specific product or category page.

For example, if the user is browsing your Earrings category page, you can set up an exit-intent popup to promote a 20% discount on earrings. When the user visits the Bracelets category page, the same campaign will promote a 20% discount on bracelets.

How to target your campaign?

In the campaign settings, under "Select who should see the popup" add a new condition - "current page / URL". Here you can select "Category pages" or "Product Pages". If you want you can narrow it down by setting up the "URL contains" condition as well.

πŸ™Œ The refreshed Editor arrived - try it now

In the last couple of months, we’ve worked hard to make popup editing simpler. Today we are happy to announce that the refreshed Editor arrived and you can try it already.

Here’s a sneak peek of the changes:

- The menu on the left is for the global settings of the popup (like position, transition, color palette, website overlay). Here you can add new layers and elements. - New menu on the right-hand side for faster layer and element customization. - The new preview menu at the bottom of your screen makes navigating between pages easier.

If you are curious to see you can turn it on with just one click at the bottom of the editor.
