If you use e-mail validation in a campaign to rule out existing subscribers (for instance, to prevent them from receiving a discount code again), you may want to customize the message the ruled out customer receives to
- use different wording
- or display the message in the different language.
In OptiMonk, you now have the freedom to craft the perfect error message for each campaign:
- to visitors who fill in the input field incorrectly
- or who have already subscribed to any campaign.
This way, you can make sure that you receive correct contact information and subscribers receive a discount code only once.
Once you're in Editor, select the input field you've applied email validation to. Below the toggle that activates email validation, you'll see a default error message that you can edit/change. Make sure to hit save before exiting.
